One Of The Biggest Bucks Dudleys Late Father In Law ...
ever killed on the McLane Farm in East TX. He shot him on the last day of the rifle season at last shooting light. He was really run down from the rut and came out in the open in one of our cover crops. I missed this buck two times on opening day the year before. It was a long shot and the wind was blowing 30 mph. The Bucks rack was a lot bigger then. Was much smaller the next year. Was an old buck, not sure if he would have made it through the winter. He was in rough shape.
