Dudley Was Glad To See The Fugly Fly Posted A New Video Today ...

t seems Joe has had a recent hospital stay and went through an amicable divorce. No wonder he had not been fly fishing recently.

If he has women figured out any better at this point, Dudley could stand to benefit from his wisdom. Dudley is not going to hold his breath at any rate.

Dudley needs to find one of those Come And Take It Lone Star Beer Cans!

In 2015 Dudley Went To Farmington Field To See The Restored Military Vehicles ..,

organized by the Military Vehicle Preservation Association (MVPA). They were recreating the historic 1920 journey of a Military Convoy from Washington DC to San Diego CA on the historic Bankhead Highway.

Dudley enjoyed looking at many of the vehicles on display. One of the neatest was the Half Track which had a map of the route painted on the back. Dudley talked to the driver and told him he wished he was able to make a trip like that. The next morning Dudley was up before sunrise and parked near the Marys Creek Bridge on the route of the original Bankhead as it went towards Aledo. Dudley took a great video of the entire convoy as it rolled by. One of the first vehicles to go by was the Half Track. If you did not recognize it by sight, you could not miss that unmistakeable sound as it passed by!

George Theophilus "Theo" Wester was appointed at the request of US Senator Bankhead to be a Delegate from Hopkins County to the Texas Bankhead Highway Association Meeting that was held in Mineral Wells in April of 1919.  Dudley wonders if he got there by rail or by way of a Model T or maybe both! Theo was a prosperous businessman in Sulphur Springs TX. Photo is of the Wester home. That is Dudleys Maternal Grandmother in the middle and her older sister on the right. Not sure who the other kid is.
