Dudley Ordered Some Bass Flies For Frank ...

A Perch Colored Streamer, a Brown Crayfish Fly and a Green, Yellow and Black Deer Hair Frog Diver Fly. Frank's new TFO 9' 6 weight fly rod should cast these large heavy flies just fine. Don't thing his South Fork Classic Fly Rod or his Wright & McGill Sweet Heart ❤️ Fly Rod would be up to the task. Maybe he will catch a Trophy Smallmouth or Largemouth Bass!

Dudley Ordered Some Fishing Tackle For His Daughter ...

Hope she can go fishing and catch a big one!

Frank And Jeff Went Fishing On The Brazos River This Morning Below Lake Whitney Dam ...

Finally got some pics ...

They launched their kayaks below the Dam. They are going to float and fish for 8 miles down to FM Rd 2114, taking out at Dick's Outpost. They will pay for a shuttle back to the dam. Haven't got any pics yet but received this text from Frank ...

"We have been flat tearing them up. Can't wait to tell you about it. Need to fish more."

Looking forward to hearing about their day and seeing some pics :)

Finally heard from Frank. They had one of their best trips ever! He and Jeff both caught over 20 fish each, ant a total of 7 different kinds ...

Largemouth Bass
Long Ear Sunfish
White Crappie
Channel Catfish
Warmouth
Sandbass
Longnose Gar

Many of the fish were caught on Fly Rod and Reel and Ultralight Spinning tackle. It was a great day!

Brazos River, the longest river in Texas, originally called Rio de los Brazos de Dios meaning “The River of the Arms of God” by Spanish explorers.

When Dudley Was A Kid, The Dallas Fort Worth Turnpike Was Pretty Neat ...

It was the only toll road around. Dudleys Grandmother and Great Aunt lived on the East side of town. To go see them, we would drive East on the Turnpike and drive through the toll booth and throw a dime in the basket and get a green light to proceed. We only drove a short distance and took the first exit for Oakland St to go to Gammys house. If you drove on the Turnpike all the way to Dallas it was a lot faster with no stop lights. The alternative was to go on Highway 80 or East Lancaster, the old Bankhead Highway to Dallas. That way required you to stop at about 80 traffic lights and took a lot longer! It was worth paying the toll. When Dudley was a kid the best trip on the Turnpike was when we took the exit to go to Six Flags Over Texas, the best Amusement Park in Texas. Sorry Astro World, you couldn't hang!

Gone but not forgotten!

Dudleys Nickname Is Macho Butt-Head ...

given to him decades ago by his big sister. Dudley wears the name proudly, thanks Big Sis! It was not easy being born pre maturely into the world with an inherited neuro muscular disease that was not diagnosed until 41 years of age. Dudley prepared himself for the world as best as he could. It was hard having to try to compete head to head in school and in in the work place with healthy students and co workers. Every day of his life, Dudley woke up a little weaker than the day before. Dudley fought as long and hard as he could for many years   and is still fighting and will to the end. God only knows how difficult it has been. Dudley has been blessed in many ways and with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on his side, will finish the race victorious!

Dudley Did Something Yesterday He Has Never Done Before ...

If they try to REVOKE Dudleys Man Card, he will demand a Medical Waiver! Living with a Profressive Neuromusculat Disease is not easy. 😳 Dudley texted these pictures to his daughter. She wanted to know if H E L L had frozen over!
