Frank And Jeff Went Fishing On The Brazos River This Morning Below Lake Whitney Dam ...

Finally got some pics ...

They launched their kayaks below the Dam. They are going to float and fish for 8 miles down to FM Rd 2114, taking out at Dick's Outpost. They will pay for a shuttle back to the dam. Haven't got any pics yet but received this text from Frank ...

"We have been flat tearing them up. Can't wait to tell you about it. Need to fish more."

Looking forward to hearing about their day and seeing some pics :)

Finally heard from Frank. They had one of their best trips ever! He and Jeff both caught over 20 fish each, ant a total of 7 different kinds ...

Largemouth Bass
Long Ear Sunfish
White Crappie
Channel Catfish
Warmouth
Sandbass
Longnose Gar

Many of the fish were caught on Fly Rod and Reel and Ultralight Spinning tackle. It was a great day!

Brazos River, the longest river in Texas, originally called Rio de los Brazos de Dios meaning “The River of the Arms of God” by Spanish explorers.
