Frank And Some Buddies Went Dove Hunting This Morning ...
It looked like it was going to be a good hunt. They saw a lot of birds flying on the far side of a sunflower field. Frank had hit a bird that flew down towards a creek. He had walked a good ways to try to get another shot. The guy whose place they were hunting on tried to cut across to pick Frank up before they drove over to the far side. He got stuck and buried his F350 to the axles. They went and got Frank's 4wd half ton truck and tried to pull the truck out but he only moved it about one foot. At that point they decided the hunt was over. They went to the guys Dads house to borrow his truck and gooseneck flatbed trailer. They went to another farm and got a 4wd 135 HP John Deere Tractor. It took some work but they got it pulled out. The good news is the farm they were hunting is just a few miles from where Frank works his night job and he got permission to go out and hunt this field in the evening by himself. He can go hunt two or three hours and then go in to work. Sounds like a pretty good deal.
