Cave In Deaf Smith County Texas That Was Used As A Post Office ...

in the late 1800's. This was in the Panhandle near Amarillo. You can see the mail boxes carved into the back wall of the cave. The mailman  would deliver the mail by horse drawn wagon or horseback. The locals would ride to the Post Office to retrieve mail or to drop off mail for pick up. Pretty amazing look back in time!
