Frank Moved His 17 Foot Grumman Aluminum Canoe ...
over to his house yesterday. He hit a pothole causing the front of the canoe to rise up, stretch the tie down ropes enough to allow the bow of the boat to hit his back glass, shattering it into a million pieces! He was not a Happy Camper :( Thankfully Frank was not hurt. Has an appointment this morning to get a new glass installed for $185.00.

Inca Dove Nesting Among Glass Insulators On A Wooden Pole ...
About 15 years ago, when we lived on the other side of town, Dudley saw a pair of strange looking dove. They were nesting on Frank and Lizzie's Basketball Goal on the back patio. That brought a quick end to any basketball until the nesting season was over. Dudley did not know what kind of dove they were but a Google Search provided the answer. They are beautiful birds to go along with our Mourning, White Wing and Collared Eurasian Dove that we have in the great State of Texas.

Dudley Remembers This Hamburger Joint ...
from back when he was a kid. It was on Seminary Drive. Used to pass by it on the way to the Green Stamp Store or the Seminary South Shopping Center. They sold Hamburgers real cheap. Never did eat there. Dudley heard they got caught selling burgers made out of horse meat. Don't know if that was true or just kids talking.

Frank And Jeff Got A Bunch Of Pecan Wood For The Smoker This Morning ...
Frank's Grandmother got permission for them to cut up a fallen limb off of a big Pecan tree in town. They tried to cut it yesterday afternoon but Frank's Chainsaw needed a new chain. They bought one last night and went back this morning and finished up. They look like a couple of real Lumberjacks with the Full Beards. They spent all day yesterday at the McLane Farm getting ready for BowSeason. Scouting out places to hang their stands and trimming shooting lanes. They filled Frank's Deer and Hog Feeder with Corn. They will be going back to put up Bow Stands and plant their Food Plots in the next month. Bow Season opens on October 1st!
