Dudley Got A New DVD Called Border Bandits ...

it is an interesting documentary.  There have been skirmishes along the southern border of the US for over 100 years. When Dudleys Maternal Grandfather was in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University, he and his buddies were given new uniforms, rifles and ammo and tents and sleeping bags. They were loaded onto Army trucks and driven down to the Rio Grande River. They guarded the border against Pancho Villa and his Border Bandits. My Grandfather for whom Dudley is named went on to become an officer in the US Army, he fought in the trenches in WWI. After the first Great War, he went to work as a Postal Inspector for the US Postal Service. When the US entered WWII he went to England and was the Commanding Officer of an Army Base. Following the second Great War he returned to Fort Worth and his job as a Postal Inspector. Later he received a political appointment to become Postmaster of the Fort Worth Post Office.
