Frank Got In An Accident Yesterday On The Way To Work ...

he was only about one block from the house and was driving down a residential street. All of a sudden he saw a vehicle backing at a high rate of speed out of a driveway. He hit the brakes and swerved to the right but the car kept coming and the front left of his truck hit the right rear of the other vehicle. He stopped and got out and made sure the lady and her child were OK. Frank thought it was an open and shut case with her failing to yield the right of way. They were exchanging Insurance information and Frank said she admitted she did not see him and had been looking at her back up camera as she was backing out of her driveway. She then proceeded to tell Frank that he shared in the fault for the accident. He politely disagreed and told the lady that in his opinion she was totally to blame for improper lookout and unsafe backing. Frank called the local police and they sent an officer out. He got the information and sent Frank on his way after telling him he was going to issue the lady a citation. Hopefully her Insurance will accept liability and pay to fix the damage to Franks truck. It damaged his new Ranch hand bumper and grill guard and the side of his truck. She also destroyed one of his new mud tires. Frank said the lady said she had gone a whole year without wrecking her new Lexus SUV. Hopefully she learned a valuable lesson and will stop and look for oncoming traffic the next time she backs out of her driveway.
