Frank And Jeff Made It Back From Their Trip ...
to Colorado Bend State Park down in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. They had a great time though the fishing was much slower than they had hoped. There just were not many sandbass up in the area they were fishing. Even the live bait fisherman were not catching much. It was a good trip given that they got to see some spectacular scenery. They saw quite a few whitetail deer, turkeys an aoudad and a wild hog ran across the road on the way out of the park one night. They ate some good Texas BBQ and plan on going back and trying it again next year. If you time it right, you can catch a fish on each cast. Hopefully the next time around they will hit the peak of the annual run.
