Frank And Jeff Went Fishing Yesterday Afternoon ...
out at the golf course where Jeff works. Frank took our new WW Griggs eight foot Heritage Series fiberglass fly rod and his G Loomis Venture 5 fly reel. Jeff fished with his heavy bass casting tackle. Jeff caught three bass and Frank caught the bass above before some heavy thunderstorms sent them packing back to the truck. Dudley told Frank he would rather catch one bass on a fly rod/reel than three on a heavy casting rod and reel. Frank agreed that it was much more sporting. We got a bunch of rain yesterday morning and into the afternoon. It is nice to get rain this time of year. It has cleared off today and when Frank gets home from working all day at the lawn service, he can mow our yard. The fishing will have to wait.
