Talked To Frank Earlier This Morning ...

and he said they did not see anything. He and his grandfather had gone back to the house to eat breakfast. They were getting ready to go back to the farm and work on putting up another corn feeder. Dudley bought a fiberglass deer feeder years ago that was mounted on three steel legs. It was up working until about two years ago when Frank's grandfather sold some timber off his property and the loggers knocked it down. The feeder itself was OK but the solar powered timer Frank had bought and put on was destroyed. They are going to go dig some post holes and sink the legs into the ground so the hogs will not be able to knock it over and also to lower the bottom of the barrel so the deer will be able to reach up and eat the corn. Franks grandfather is going to attach some PVC pipe to the bottom of the barrel and make it a free choice type feeder. The barrel holds over two hundred pounds of corn so after it is filled it will be continue to feed for some time. Frank is going to go ahead and head back home after they get the feeder set up. He did not get a deer or wild hog but it is early in the season. He is going to go back next weekend and try again. Dudley was hoping they would be overrun with deer and wild hogs but Frank said they were overrun by mosquitoes. Hopefully he will have better luck next weekend as the weather should be a little cooler and it will be a dark moon phase. He is getting to spend time hunting with his grandfather and that is what really matters the most.

Comments:
I hate mosquitoes.

Me too, don't know about Georgia mosquitoes but we have em here in Texas the size of small birds.
