I Bought A Part Of My Family History Off Ebay ...
which I think is pretty cool. This guy was a distant relative of Dudley, I think he was my third cousin. You can read more about him here if you would like in a previous post I did about him. I guess not eveyone can say they had a relative that was a U.S. Congressman. He passed away when I was in my early twenties. I wish I could have met him. He is best remembered for standing up to Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev in a public ceremony in Los Angeles during his tenure as mayor. That took some balls to do that. I can see cousin Norris was a conservative. I think he and Dudley would have gotten along fine. This political flyer was mailed out during WWII. Norris was a proud American and supported the U.S. troops but made a point of saying he wanted to bring them home as soon as possible.
