Dudley And Daughter Got Out This Morning ...

we went to the International House Of Pancakes and were going to eat a late breakfast but when we got there, the parking lot was full. There was not one empty parking place. People were parking across the street and walking over. We decided to skip IHOP and went over to the AT&T cell phone store. Dudley bought her a car charger so she could charge her cell phone in her car. Dudley has a Motorola Sliver cell phone and she has a Motorola Razor cell phone and they use the same charger. Dudley was getting tired of going out to his truck and finding his charger was missing. I bet you can guess where it was. Now we each have our own charger and we both are happy. The guy that waited on us saw her phone and told her she was lucky to have such a nice phone with so many features. He started trying to impress her with his knowledge of her phone and asking her if she knew about this and that feature. She had used and was familiar with everything he asked her about. The guy better watch out, she may be after his job. She is only 16 years old but her knowledge of electronic gadgets and computers is amazing. When we left the phone store it was lunch time so we went to Chick Fil-A and ate. Soon after we got back home, I heard the dog barking at the mail man and went to get the mail. I was glad to see a long package on the front porch. It was the new Eagle Claw Classic Featherlight Fly Rod I ordered for my son. I also bought him a new G. Loomis Venture Fly Reel to go with it. It is a sweet ultralight fly rod and reel. We have rented a log cabin for five days in June in East Texas. It sits facing a trophy bass lake about 15 acres in size. It is just down the road from a second private lake about half that size that we will be able to use. They provide a jon boat with an electric trolling motor and my son also will take his new kayak. We can not wait to go and should be able to catch a lot of fish. We went four years ago and caught a bunch of small bass and some monster bluegill. There are some big bass in there as well. Dudley should be able to get in the boat ok but is worried about getting out. Where there is a will, there is a way. Dudley will probably try to fish for a few hours each day during the prime early morning and late evening time. Frank no doubt will fish from daylight to dark. It should be a lot of fun. We can't wait to go.
