Ford F-250 STX Appearance Package ...
Now in 2017 for the first time, Ford has made the F-250 Super Duty truck available with the STX package. Unlike the F-150, the Super Duty was not previously available with an STX Package. This is great news for truck buyers. Previously most Super Duty Ford trucks on the road were equipped in the Lariat trim level and MSRPs would commonly exceed $60,000 on a Diesel truck. The STX package on the F-250 is based upon the XL package and is available in either a Diesel or Gas engine.
The STX Appearance Package offers a bright chrome grille and bumpers, upgraded 18-inch cast aluminum wheels, upgraded stereo with am/fm and single CD/MP3 as well as available color coordinated carpet. The exterior of the STX appears almost identical to that of the more expensive XLT but for an MSRP of only $1,690. That is a savings of nearly $3,500 over a comparably equipped XLT. Will you receive all of the equipment on the XLT? No. Will this truck be just as capable? You bet.
The STX package has always been a great deal on light duty trucks. Now that it is available on Super Duty trucks, you should start seeing a lot more on the road. Many Ford Dealers don’t have a great selection in stock because they sell so quickly. The Super Duty truck compares really well to its competitors at Chevy and at Ram.
