Dudley called and the recording said they were aware of an Outtage in Dudleys area and that they were working to fix it. About an hour later the TV came back to life!

This Morning When Dudley Got Up He Turned The Lights On His Hunter Ceiling Fans ...
He noticed that the lights were flickering. That was a sign that there was a problem with the power supply to the Dudley Domicile. Sure enough, about an hour later there was a loud explosion and a bright flash of light. The transformer had blown. Dudley called the Power Company, has them on speed dial. Later got a text message saying the power should be restored by 7:30 PM. Dudley was sitting in his truck in the driveway about 4:00 PM charging his phone and listening to music when he got a message saying power had been restored!

Dudley saw Hef in 1986 at DFW Airport. Had just gotten off a Jet from Chicago and walked around a blind corner and there he was standing a few feet away talking to two beautiful young women. I think one of them may have been his daughter. Dudley saw some funny comments on FB.
And he went out on Hump Day!
It will take the Mortician a week to get the smile off his face!

This hand drawn ferry was in operation for 100 years. From one year before the start of the Civil War until Dudley was one year old. 1860-1960. Gives Dudley a good feeling knowing he was living for a time while this historic ferry was still being used.

She and a friend flew up there this morning to see the sights and some friends that moved to New York a while back. She saw the Statue of Liberty out the window as the plane was making its final approach into LaGuardia. She is going to see the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building while she is there. Will go to some Museums and will go to some great Restaurants no doubt. Dudley is holding down the Fort here in Texas. Will survive on Pizza and Peanut Butter Sammiches for the next six days!
Dudleys wife better not bring back any of that Picante Sauce that they make in NEW YORK CITY! That contraband is not Texas Cowboy approved :)

Tragically Johnny Horton, at the peak of his short career in the Music Industry was killed in a truck/auto crash in East Texas. This was about one year after this fishing trip. He was on the way to perform a concert. The other fellow, Johnny Cash went on to have a long successful career in Country Music.

Dudley could not make out the location but it may be near Palestine because the engineer was named and said to be from there. Must be the Internstional and Great Northern RR. This photo is great as it combines two of Dudleys interests. TexasRailroad History and Hunting History. The two guys with the guns and hunting dogs look like they are fixing to go have some fun! Of course to Dudley, the Engineer and Fireman were not working operating the train, they had to have been having fun too and they were getting paid :)
