Frank And Jeff Took A Long Boat Ride Today ...
from Corpus Cristi down south across Baffin Bay into the Land Cut going many miles toward the Laguna Madre to Jeff's Grandfathers remote fishing cabin. Frank was going to wade fish this afternoon and evening with his fly rod for Speckled Trout and Redfish. Tonight they are going to fire up the generator that powers the lights on the dock that extends out into the water in front of the cabin. The cabin has no electricity or running water. It is pretty primitive. You have to haul all of your fuel and food and water. There is no cell phone service. Behind the mudflats that stretch for miles is the massive Kennedy Ranch, the second biggest Ranch in S TX next to the larger King Ranch which is bigger than the State of Rhode Island. Hopefully they will catch a bunch of keeper Specs and maybe a Redfish or two!

to add to Dudleys hunting and fishing memorabilia collection. Frank may have to use some of these in his Benjamin Air Rifle to keep the Possums and Raccoons in check around the Dudley Domicile.

Bought A Weaver Scope Patch ...
on eBay to go with my collection of NOS Weaver Scopes. Dudley can't hunt and fish like he used to but enjoys "hunting" for items to add to his hunting and fishing memorabilia collection.
Bought A Weems Wildcall Patch ...
today on EBay to add to my hunting and fishing memorabilia collection. It will look good next to my NOS wooden Weems Wildcall which is new in the box with the original instructions. I believe Mr Weems was one of the pioneers in the predator hunting and call making business. He lived and manufactured his calls here in Fort Worth TX back in the 40's through the 60's I think.
