This pictures were taken a few days ago not far from the farm Frank and Jeff hunt. Glad to see the Eastern strain turkeys are doing well. There is no season on turkeys in Anderson County to give the birds time to get reestablished. Years ago they tried to restock Rio Grande strain turkeys in East TX. It was not successful. Hopefully the turkeys will increase in numbers to where they can open a hunting season on them!
