The James Jordan Buck Is A Former World Record Typical WT ...

James Jordan, age 22 killed the buck on November 20, 1914. He was hunting with a Winchester Model 1892 Lever Rifle  in .25-20 WCF.  The buck was taken in Wisconscin.  James took the rack and cape to a local taxidermist to get a head and neck mount of the deer. The taxidermist moved away and did not leave a forwarding address. James thought his buck was lost forever.  Around 1964 James was surprised to find out his rack had come to be found not too far away. He was able to get the deer back!

Dudley has a replica minature antler of this rack hanging from his rear view mirror in his Dodge Ram. Also has one hanging from the pull chain for the Bankers Lamp in his Man Cave.
