The Chapin Rd Bridge Finally Reopened ...

Dudley has been having to take a detour around this spot for several years. The County took forever to replace this bridge that had last been built in 1944. When Dudley drives into town from his house, he usually goes home on a FM road that goes out in the country and crosses the road this bridge is on. It is going to be nice to take this shortcut straight through. I bet Ross Perot could have had this bridge replaced in a matter of days. Took the County years, Dudleys tax dollars at work!

Jeff And Frank Made Up 30 Lbs Of Summer Sausage ...

last night. Frank put them in his Bradley Smoker this morning. Jeff brought over 23 lbs of venison from the deer he killed last month down in the Texas Hill Country. Frank added 7 lbs of pork and ran it through his grinder and then used his Enterprise Stuffer to make the sausage.

Some Pics Of Frank Leaving To Go Pig Hunting ...

yesterday down near Clifton, TX. He got invited to go by one of the Wingbandits. They hunted on a 300 acre Ranch next to the Airport. Frank said they saw a bunch of deer. There was a total of four guys on the hunt. They corned the roads and drove around in a Polaris RZR looking for hogs. This morning they drove up to check a deer feeder and saw a pig running 50 or 60 yards away. Frank was kneeling in the bed of the stopped UTV. He rested on the roll bar and looked through the Eotech Holographic Sight and fired two quick shots hitting the pig causing it to slow down a little and change direction. Frank then fired 5 or 6 quick shots and put the middle age sow down for good! It was an exciting hunt and the first kill for Dudleys Bushmaster M4 AR-15.

Frank Went To The Norwegian Capital Of Texas ...

and killed a nice eating size Pig this morning. Frank shot the running Hog from the back of a Polaris RZR with Dudleys Bushmaster M4 AR-15 from 50 to 60 yards away. Congrats son, nice shooting!

Picture Of One Of Franks Friends ...

out in Big Bend. Last summer he was out at their Ranch House one morning when he heard someone trying to break in. He grabbed a lever action rifle and went and confronted the law breaker at gun point. Franks buddy called the Border Patrol and they said they would send an Agent out to the Ranch. They showed up 3 hours later and took the guy into custody.  Franks buddy gave the guy water and something to eat while they waited on the Border Patrol. Also let him use his cell phone to call his parents to let them know he got caught. Glad to see one American Citizen doing what he can to keep our border secure.

Bought A Kickapoo Indian Sagwa Apothecary Medicine Glass Jar ...

the other day. Found it on EBay and am going to put it on my Fireplace Mantle. The label is obviously a modern reproduction and I would guess the jar is as well since it only cost $22.00 with free shipping.

Happy New Year ...
